Jay-Z Sunglasses in Empire State of Mind Video – Help Me
I've just caught the new video for Empire State of Mind by Jay-Z featuring Alicia Keyes and I cannot figure out what brand of sunglasses they are wearing.

Oakley C Six Sunglasses - The Height of Sunglasses Technology?
Oakley has finally released the much anticipated carbon fibre frame sunglasses we've been hearing about. The model is called C Six. There is also a C Six aluminium.

The obvious technological highlight of this pair is the carbon fibre. As far as I know, it is the first pair of sunglasses that have a frame completely made out of carbon fibre (although there is more than just that in the frame). The lenses are the standard high quality Oakley polarized lenses.
The price is beyond anything Oakley has ever done. At $4000 a pair, it is by far the most expensive pair of sports sunglasses in the world, though I don't imagine you'd be wearing them sporting. The aluminium version is a relatively cheap $1,500. Read more at the Oakley site:

9five Sunglasses Fall 2009 Collection – Skate Sunglasses
In clothing there is literally a brand to fill every niche – B-boy, rocker, goth, crackhead, preppy, etc.. With the start of the new brand 9five, we now have sunglasses for skaters. This is their first year on the scene and I imagine not the last.
The styles for their Fall 2009 collection are fairly conservative, basing a lot of the frames on some classic shapes. Where they shine is in the coloring. What we see are some nice gradient shades and lenses, pastels, blues and translucents.

New Mosley Tribes Sunglasses - 2010 Resort Collection
Mosley Tribes keeps on releasing eyewear with street-cred pre-packaged. The brand has kept strong throughout the last few years and has dropped a few really solid models. This time around we are looking at the Resort Collection.

The styles are not very loud, although they do have nice color schemes. I like the Hillyard the best for the translucent frame and gradated lenses. It's a simple shape so would work for a lot of people.

Twilight New Moon Sunglasses – Stars Love Ray-Bans
With all the buzz about the new Twilight film coming out, we are seeing lots of random shots of the stars in public. Oddly, their fashion outside of the film is very similar. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are always wearing the same sunglasses. Like before, Robert Pattinson's sunglasses are Ray-Ban's.

This style is the Ray-Ban 2140 Wayfarer. This film is going to be released on November 20, 2009 and I think I'll stay away. I'm not getting into the whole vampire rage. I mean, how many televisions show are there now?

Shameless Fixation # 8 - Erlik Greaseland
I've mentioned Erlik sunglasses before and now I've got a different style of theirs stuck in my head. It's called Greaseland (excellent name) and it's huge in many ways. I've got a thing for large over-sized sunglasses and this frame soothes my addiction.

Rihanna was recently spotted leaving JFK wearing a loud pair of sunglasses. She's loud with the fashion in general, but this pair is especially ridiculous. She looks pure rock star.

Great shape and color
Jee Vice sunglasses have been getting popular with the celebrity crowd of late. They've been spotted on Anne Hathawa, Salma Hayek, Katherine Heigl and many more. The Red Hot is maybe my favorite of their line. I love the shape of the frames and that they are open on the sides. Check out their website for more rock and roll.
