James Hetfield Sunglasses - Prada SPR07F
James Hetfield has been spotted wearing his favorite pair of sunglasses all over town and sad but true, they are Prada. You wouldn't think he would be spotted wearing Prada, but even metal heads need their bling it seems. I guess when you've sold millions and gone through the ringer a few times, nothing else matters.

House of Diehl Sunglasses 2010
I've come across and interesting set of sunglasses which may interest those on the outer ridges of the fashion spectrum. House of Diehl is a very New York based collaboration between Mary Jo Diehl and Roman Milišić. It's on the avant garde side of things as many of these pairs are unwearable, even by fashion show standards seeing that many pairs have holes through them or are covered in paint or mirrors.
Despite how unwearable they are, it's an interesting take on the basic Ray-Ban Wayfarer shape which you really think couldn't be done in a new way. Adding studs to the lenses of sunglasses in something I've never come across.

Snoop Dogg Sunglasses in California Gurls Video
After a huge build up the video for Katy Perry's California Gurls is out. It looks like a sexed-up Willy Wonka's factory with Snoop Dogg as the king. Highlights are Katy Perry taking her kit off half way through and a huge ginger bread man finding pleasure in being eaten. It looks like a fun place.

I have had a few questions about Snoop Dogg's sunglasses in the video but I have not found out what they are yet. He has been wearing a lot of Serious Pimp sunglasses but I'm sure these are not from them. They might have been made just for the video like most of the clothes and outfits. Tom Cruise Sunglasses in Knight and Day
Tom Cruise returns to the summer film world for the first time since 2006 with Knight and Day. He plays a secret agent on the run from the men in the black suits and runs into Cameron Diaz along the way. It seems as though there are a few films out like this now - playful hitman type movies. He is wearing two pairs of sunglasses in the film

Tom Cruise sunglasses in Knight and Day - Ray-Ban 3025???
This pair is identical to Ray-Ban 3025 aviators but I can't be sure as there is no "Ray-Ban" logo on the frame. Of course he has been known for wearing them before (Cocktail, Top Gun).

Russell Brand Sunglasses in Get Him to the Greek Movie
Russell Brand's typecasted career continues in Get Him to the Greek, playing an out of control rock and roll star. The character played by Jonah Hill needs to get him to the U.S. in time for a concert, and things go wrong. When I first saw the trailer I didn't expect much but I've heard good things, and it is well reviewed.
Russell Brand's sunglasses in the airport scene are Alexander McQueen's 4099. It's a rare nice pair from the latest collection and, of course, very rock star. The movie is in theaters now.

Lady Gaga Sunglasses in Alejandro Video
With the newest Lady Gaga video being released, I was anticipating another pair designed by her Haus of Gaga (her designer friends who make accessories for her) and they delivered. There are two different pairs in the video and the first one we will look at is definitely the Haus of Gaga pair. They've given us razor blade sunglasses, sunglasses made of burning cigarettes and flashing lights. And now for something completely different.

Lady Gaga Sunglasses Alejandro Video
The pair is actually part of a headpiece the sits on top of her head (which you can see later in the video). It seems as there are even lenses inside of them. The arms which connect all of the pieces together are lit up and the "lenses" can be pulled back which Gaga does a few times in the video. I'm still trying to figure out what significance they have to the meaning of the video, if any.
I need a better picture of these right now
The second pair is of yet unknown. I have been scouring the tubes looking for it but I've had no luck. If anyone has any idea, please leave a comment below.

Mykita Bernhard Willhelm Franz 24k Sunglasses
Mykita's Franz sunglasses have done well and being friends with Bernhard Willhelm, they've decided to work together on a pair of sunglasses. The result is a 24k version of Franz, which fits with Bernhard's Olympic design theme lately. The mirrored gold lenses are incredible.

Mosley Tribes Lyndel Beaded Sunglasses
Mosley Tribes announced the release of another version of the Lyndel sunglasses. This time they haven't just changed the color; the temples have been totally beaded in a traditional Native American pattern. The pattern makes a fair subtle frame really eye-catching. It's a very attractive frame but I think it might be hard to pull off.

Tyga Sunglasses in G-Shit Video
Tyga has released yet another generic and low-budget video. This is one of those videos where it is just a bunch of people partying around a pool. However, this time it looks like they use low-grade home video cameras to shoot it. This kind of video got old in 1995. It looks like things are bottoming out for Chris Brown. The sunglasses, however, are looking nice.
This video is almost like an advertisement for Super sunglasses, as both Tyga and Chris Brown are wearing them. Tyga goes back and forth between Louis Vuitton Bindi sunglasses and Super Sunglasses Ciccio in black and gold. Chris Brown's sunglasses are Super sunglasses Sideview.

Lil' Wayne Sunglasses in Knockout Video
Despite being incarcerated, Lil' Wayne has managed to released a series of singles and videos. The latest video is for the song "Knockout", from the critically panned album Rebirth. The video features Nicki Minaj as Wayne's "love" interest. The song, and the album, are a depart from the usual Lil' Wayne hip-hop. I appreciate him trying something new, but this one misses the mark huge. I think he should stick with Lolipops.
