I believe those are prescription sunglasses. He probably needed them to read the teleprompter, etc. Love his spec styles - what a dapper dude!

He really is good with the shades. I've read that he always picks his own sunglasses for movies, so I'm sure he did it here as well.

It has been said there are two types of people that wear sunglasses indoors: Assholes and Movie Stars. Robert Downey Jr. is a Movie Star! He looks fabulous!

Since I'm obsessed with him, it's totally cool. He makes wearing sunglasses indoors look cool! :D

I could be wrong, but his sunglasses could also be the type that ajust to lighting, so they might actually be his real glasses. I bet they atleast have his perscription in them.
