Dita and Silly Thing (Think Silly) Sunglasses Collaboration

Continuing its tradition of collaborating with other brands, Dita has gotten together with Silly Thing to make an interesting looking model for the Silly collection.  Right now these are the only shots available.

No justice in this picture

The quality of the model will reflect Dita’s craftsmanship, but the style is definitely Silly Thing.  Their recent products all have a special feel to them, and they intentional make them stick out from the average shoe, t-shirt or hat.  This pair of shades seems to have some of that, but I’ll have to see more pictures.  The shape is inspired by the classic Moscot frame, an ancient shape, but has its own flavourings.

The release is set for October 1st and with the Dita eyewear name attached to it, they could do very well.

Something seriously wrong with ultra-luxury nerd glasses.

Also, who am I kidding, I want one. Love the classic Moscot frames, and Dita's constantly amazing.

Have to agree with you, but I want a better look at them. Have to wait until October 1st.

Mike, you are by far my best visitor. What's your story?

Hmm, don't know how interesting my story is, really. I'm extremely tall, so initially they were just a handy way of "hiding" from the gawkers, but it's gradually been morphed into a solid appreciation for the classics and for intriguing designs. Now, I just wear what I like and don't really care either way, y'know?

There's more, of course, but I'm not sure how detailed a story you wanted. Figured you were just after the pertinent stuff. :p

Hey Mike,

Thanks for the interesting response.

It is cool to chat someone who has a similar interest, even if it is just sunglasses.
