Lady Gaga Sunglasses in Bad Romance Video – Carrera Champion Sunglasses
Lada Gaga appears in her new video for Bad Romance in so many different pairs of sunglasses that it's tough to keep up. In the opening scene she is wearing a pair made out of razor blades, literally. She brings in lot of props for each video that are one-of-a-kind.

In the above photo she is wearing the Carrera Champion sunglasses that have been huge for the past couple of years. The white frame itself has probably been the most popular.
There are at least 3 other pairs on the video I've yet to identify, although one of the pairs (with the gold band across the top) looks just like her Vintage Versace 676. There are also a number of black pair that I'm looking for.

Paul Frank Sunglasses – Spring/Summer 2010
Paul Frank has designed a very impressive line for early 2010 Spring/Summer. The entire line feels like a presentation of how to do color correctly. The frames are basic and simple shapes which really form a great base for great matching of colors and hues.
Only two or three colors are used on each frame, but careful attention has been placed on how the lens color matches them.

Everything Hits at Once
Back on the Motorway
These frames are all simple and fun. They will work for a lot of people as they are not too loud. Also, expect the prices to be around $100 U.S., cheaper than most big name brands.

Alicia Keys' Sunglasses in Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart Video – Help Me
I've been asked what Alicia Keys' sunglasses are in the new video Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart and I can't figure out what they are! I'm calling on all sunglasses junkies to help.

They are clearly a pair of Carrera sunglasses and very similar to the Carrera Champion but are not the same. They are not in the Carrera 2010 line, I've looked. It could be a pair given just to Alicia to be released later as this happens from time to time.

Taylor Momsen Sunglasses – Robert Marc 539 Sunglasses
Taylor Momsen was spotted on the show Gossip Girls wearing these sunglasses.

The style is Robert Marc 539. It's a very classy looking frame and works well with the photo. Taylor Momsen is known for her great sense of fashion at only the age of 16 and she is a rock star in the making. I think we are going to be seeing a lot of her in the future.

Ksubi 2010 Sunglasses Collection
The Ksubi sunglasses collection for 2010 has been released and we've got the highlights here. The collection is called "Book Club".
One thing that immediately becomes clear is that each frame is very distinctive in style. They have a great range of personalities covered in just 13 different frames. To be honest, I like last years frames better. The 2010 line is very eclectic, but it seems to mish-mashed together. There is not one frame that jumps out at me. Your thoughts? Is Ksubi becoming old news?

Chris Brown Sunglasses – I Can Transform Ya Video
Chris Brown is back at punishing the world with with his pop in his comeback track, the poorly titled “I Can Transform Ya”. I don't know what they were thinking with this name, seriously. It's almost humorous in a dark way.

He wears a few different styles in the video, but the one that most people are talking about are the white sunglasses, which are the Dior Homme Blow sunglasses, featured sometime ago on this blog. The style is obviously not for everyone, but works for him in this video. It's basically the best thing happening in the video. The song in incredibly bad and certainly not enough to bring back his popularity. Also, please, the reference to the Transformers? Are his fans really that young? Lil' Wayne can't even save him in this, despite referring to a disco-stick as a Voltron.
The Dior Homme Blow sunglasses cost about $600 USD.

Dita and Clot FDTD Sunglasses
Dita continues with their ongoing collaborations. This time they've collaborated with CLOT, a Hong Kong based brand which has street clothing, toys and then the random collaborations.
Apparently they did a redo of Dita's Midnight Special last year in a different color, but this year they've designed their own frame. It's called the FDTD and here is the first look.

Christina Aguilera Sunglasses – Super Sunglasses White Classic Super
She's been known for her ridiculous outfits and outlandish style. Sort of a pre-Lady Gaga shock artist. In this recent photo of her we have the urban hipster version of Christina Aguilera. Sunglasses are in the forefront of this get-up and the colour is very intentional. White sunglasses have been popular for awhile now and I don't see that going away.

Rihanna Sunglasses in Run This Town Video – a-morir by kerin.rose Barracuda
I've seen Rihanna wearing these sunglasses around and I didn't even know they were featured in the video for “Run This Town”. The sunglasses are by a-morir by kerin.rose and the style is called Barracuda.

A-morir is a New York based accessories brand that have a great line of sunglasses. They only started a year ago and they are growing quickly with help from videos like this. Their styles basically avoid cliches and going straight for the jugular of originality. According to the a-morir website, you can actually see through these things, however the point is really being seen, which shouldn't be a problem. The cost for them is $350 and you can order them on the a-morir website.

NEIGHBORHOOD x Dita Batmobile Sunglasses
The latest incarnation of the Dita and Neighborhood relationship has resulted in the Batmobile sunglasses. Similar to their other collaborations, it's a a Wayfarer shape.
